AutoWallpaper

AutoWallpaper is cross-platform desktop wallpaper changing utility. It is currently developed in Qt and Visual Studio (Windows Only). AutoWallpaper allows the user to select a folder containing images and use those images as desktop backgrounds. The wallpaper can be automatically changed based on user-defined time intervals or the user can manually change the wallpaper with just a single click of the mouse. AutoWallpaper is currently supported in Windows and Linux (GNome) with more OS support on the way.

AutoWallpaper came to be in November of 2007 when I decided that I wanted a program to swith my wallpapers on my Windows machine the same way that they are switched on my Mac. I didn't like any of the existing similar applications so I decided to write my own. AutoWallpaper started out as a very lightweight and compact desktop wallpaper utility for Windows and eventually evolved into a very useful tool.
