I) Overview
Welcome to the AutoWallpaper support page. Here you will find support on installing, using, and debugging AutoWallpaper. If you come across any bugs while using AutoWallpaper, you can report them here. When in doubt, check the support page.

II) Installing
1) Windows:
Download the latest Windows binary package installer. Run the installer and follow the instructions to install AutoWallpaper. When complete, make sure you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later installed. If you are not sure, just install it anyway. It is available from Microsoft's website. To uninstall, run uninstall.ex located in the installation directory.

2) Linux:
Download the binary package for your platform and unpack/install it. The two required packages you will need to run AutoWallpaper are libqtgui4 and libqtcore4. You can download and install these using apt-get or you system's package manager. If your platform isn't listed, download the source code and compile it for your platform. You will need Qt 4.5.0, binutils, gcc 4.0 and make to do so.

1) Windows
Read the Help.rtf file lacated in the installation directory (Program Files\AutoWallpaper\Help.rtf)

2) Linux
Read the HELP.rtf file located in (/usr/doc/autowallpaper?).

IV) FAQ
1) Which package should I download?
Download the binary package that corresponds to your platform version. If your platform isn't listed, download the source and compile AutoWallpaper in your platform.

2) What image file types are supported by AutoWallpaper?
JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG

3) Why do I have to choose a folder when I first run AutoWallpaper?
AutoWallpaper will not function unless it is pointed to a folder containing images. So, when you first run AutoWallpaper, you must choose a valid folder before you can proceed.
